A special challenge, and an opportunity to share

Hey there, neighbors. I have never really had to make a video like this before so I appreciate your grace and your patience as I talk through it. I just want to make you aware of a challenge that we're facing as a congregation in hopes that God moves you to get involved.
So a couple of weeks ago we had an issue with our air conditioner. It wasn't working right which is not all that unusual our unit is from 1989, it's more than 30 years old, and so we have had to finesse it a lot over the last couple of years. However, this time the motor was burnt out, we were gonna have to special order one from New York, and it was going to cost us thousands of dollars. So we began to pray through if we might have some other options. We discovered that one of the other Neighborhood Churches had some money that we could borrow without interest that would meet most of the need that we have immediately. So we signed off on getting that scheduled and so we're moving in that direction--we're going to replace the air conditioner in our auditorium.
However, that happens at a time when, two weeks ago, we had already signed off on replacing the air conditioner in the back of our building where Kid Nation has been meeting since March (I think) without any Central AC. So all together in two weeks time we're spending more than thirty thousand dollars on air condition replacing costs. I think that's going to put us in a good position overall but it's a big need at the front end.
So I know that God gives or God often does extraordinary things through ordinary people's hands and so I'm putting this need before you letting you know the challenge that we're facing and asking you to pray through how you can contribute.
